The M4 Sherman was a medium tank used by Allied forces during the Second World War. It was christened "Sherman" after the American Civil War General, Tecumseh Sherman.

In Game

The M4 Sherman Tank is in all the Call of Duty games set in the second world war. Although in some of them you will only be able to use it in the multiplayer games as the Americans and not in the single campaign missions. The tank is frequently seen providing support for your character by Allied forces. A Sherman Firefly tank can be used in Call of Duty 3 by playing the Polish missions.
