Moon

Moon is a Nazi Zombies map from Call of Duty: Black Ops. It was released in the fourth DLC package, Rezurrection. It is the first Nazi Zombies map to be set in space, and takes into account the reduced Gravity and lack of oxygen. It is the largest Zombies map to date.

[edit] Information

The map has two locations; the moon's surface and Area 51, Nevada. The characters are the original four from Zombies: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen. There are two new Wonder Weapons: the Quantum Entanglement Device (QED) and the Wave Gun.

There is also new equipment. The P.E.S. allows the player to survive outside on the moon, where there is little oxygen. The Hacker can be used in various ways. Also, Moon features two new types of zombie. The Astronaut Zombie is very slow-moving. Should it come into contact with a player, it grabs hold of them and steals one of their perks, and teleports them to another location. The Phasing Zombies are similar to crawlers, but they can teleport towards the player. The map also sees the return of the Hellhounds.

The players spawn in Area 51, and the Moon is accessed via a teleporter which becomes available after a while. Both Speed Cola and Juggernog are available from the beginning of the game, and the Pack-A-Punch machine is as well. On arrival at the moon, the players must purchase a P.E.S. to survive the low oxygen environment, until the power is turned on at which point oxygen is restored within the buildings, unless they are breached (for example a window has been broken and not repaired).

Moon features a new perk: Mule Kick. This gives the player another gun slot, for a total of three. It costs 4000 points.
